Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Pousada Flor de Lena (Rua Joaquim Alves Parente, s/n, Icaraí de Amontada, Amontada, CE, Brazil) handles the personal data of people who visit the website flordelena.com and request bookings, in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018). If there is any difference between this translation and the Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. What data we collect
- Booking form: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional), dates, suite, number of guests and pets, notes, and the language of the page where the request was made.
- Browsing: this website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. We only store two local preferences in your browser: one to remember that you have already seen the privacy notice and another to remember your chosen language. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Fonts and icons are loaded from our own server. The only external service is Google Maps, shown on the Location page: when the map loads, Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type, under Google's own policy, and may use its own cookies.
2. How the data is used
Form data is used exclusively to handle your booking request and for the communication needed for your stay. The message is sent directly to the guesthouse's WhatsApp from your own device; the website does not store this data on its own servers.
3. Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Sending via WhatsApp is subject to Meta/WhatsApp's privacy policy. Google Maps, mentioned in item 1, receives only the technical data needed to display the map and processes it under Google's privacy policy. Links to partners (tours, restaurants, Booking.com, Instagram, Google Maps) lead to external websites with their own policies.
4. Legal basis and retention
Processing is based on the performance of a contract and on preliminary steps taken at the data subject's request (art. 7, V, of the LGPD). Customer service conversations are kept for as long as needed for your stay and for legal obligations, and are then deleted.
5. Your rights
You may at any time request confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw any consent. To exercise these rights, contact us through the bookings page or on Instagram @flordelenapousada.
6. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
7. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version will always be available on this page.
